Kylie joined Thorne Segar in 2025 as a Trust and Estate Practitioner. She has worked in Private Client law since 1998 and brings nearly 30 years’ experience to her role.

Kylie advises clients on the administration of estates and trusts, including complex and taxable estates, Inheritance Tax, post-death planning and the practical responsibilities faced by executors and trustees. She also assists clients with Wills, estate planning and the creation of trusts to protect and provide for their families.

Known for her friendly, straightforward approach, Kylie believes that legal advice should be clear, practical and genuinely helpful. She understands that clients often come to us at an incredibly difficult time and takes great care to guide them through the process with patience, kindness and empathy. Her aim is not simply to deal with the legal work, but to make what can feel like an overwhelming process as manageable as possible.

Kylie is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is entitled to use the internationally recognised TEP designation. She also holds an MBA and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.

Outside work, Kylie enjoys going to the theatre, watching films, holidays and festivals. She can also be found strength training, spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their dogs, Chewie and Wicket, or thoroughly spoiling her nephew, Isaac.
