Please see information below about how we will continue to advise and support you during the Coronavirus disruption
HOW WE PROVIDE WILLS:
1. We provide appointments in our office, at your home, by telephone or by video meeting – whichever you prefer. Please telephone 01643 703234 to book your appointment. For a video meeting you will need to have a computer with a webcam and be at your computer during the meeting. We will email you an invitation and call you at the agreed time.
2. We will send you a Will information pack and questionnaire (which you can download here). Please complete the Will questionnaire prior to the meeting and return in the prepaid envelope.
3. For a telephone or video meeting we will contact you at the agreed time and talk through the Will questionnaire. We will guide you through the process of making your Will. We can answer any questions you may have and provide practical advice and suggestions.
4. If we are making a Will for you and your partner, please ensure they are present for the telephone call, we will be unable to take instructions from one of you only.
5. Following the meeting, we will prepare your Will and send a draft copy to you with a letter of advice. If you have any questions, you can telephone, write a letter or email.
6. When you are happy with your Will we will send you an engrossed copy for signature. Your signature will need to be witnessed by 2 independent witnesses who will both need to be present when you sign your Will (it cannot be witnessed by a Beneficiary of the Will as this would invalidate the gift to the Beneficiary).
